Restoration Ephraim
Restored to their homeland by the League of Nations in 1948 the Jews thereby fulfilled the prophecy of God's word in Joel 3:1 "For behold, in those days and at that time, When I bring back the captives of Judah and Jerusalem."

However, because as a nation they still refuse to keep God's commandments and have arrogantly taken advantage of the poor around them, God has brought punishment upon them, Amos 2:4-6:

"Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they have despised the law of the LORD, And have not kept His commandments. Their lies lead them astray, Lies which their fathers followed. But I will send a fire upon Judah, And it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem." Thus says the LORD: "For three transgressions of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away its punishment, Because they sell the righteous for silver, And the poor for a pair of sandals."

When would these things come about ? "In the days leading up to the Day of the Lord Amos 2:16 "The most courageous men of might Shall flee naked in that day, Says the LORD.", which occurs just before the return of Christ !"

Meanwhile, Judah's brother nation ancient Israel, led by the two sons of Joseph, Ephraim and Manasseh, for the while lost to history, have with Assyria migrated west and become a commonwealth of nations and the single greatest nation on earth;

Genesis 35:11: "Also God said to him: I am God Almighty. Be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall proceed from you, and kings shall come from your body."
Ephraim, the founder of the Commonwealth of nations, has become so godless that the word of God now seems incredible to him , Hosea 8:12 "I have written for him the great things of My law, But they were considered a strange thing." Often when we attempt to insert messages such as this in the national press they are not accepted.

While Ephraim has forgotten his Maker, Judah has been receiving punishment - verse 14, "For Israel has forgotten his Maker, And has built temples; Judah also has multiplied fortified cities; But I will send fire upon his cities, And it shall devour his palaces." This is at the hands of Ishmael's descendants, who in turn will be punished for their cruelty, Joel 3:19 "Egypt shall be a desolation, And Edom a desolate wilderness, Because of violence against the people of Judah, For they have shed innocent blood in their land."
